In 1994, in the vibrant heart of Maracaibo, Venezuela, a story of love, flavor and tradition began. Pastelitos Hugo was born from the skillful hands and passionate heart of Mr. Hugo Morales and his wife Anancis Parra. Together, they dreamed of a place where the warmth of the Venezuelan family and the richness of its gastronomy would merge in each dish served.

From day one, Pastelitos Hugo became more than a restaurant: it became a refuge of flavors and memories for those who longed for a piece of Venezuela far from home. Crispy tequeños, stuffed arepas, and traditional pastries fed not only bodies, but also souls, reminding diners of their roots and traditions.

Mr. Hugo Morales’ legacy grew stronger over the years, fueled by his tireless dedication and the authenticity of his recipes. After his death, his sons Roberto and Hugo Morales took up the torch, carrying their father’s dream beyond Venezuelan borders. In 2018, Pastelitos Hugo crossed horizons to take root in the United States, carrying with them not only the flavors but also the history and spirit of the Venezuela they loved so much.

Today, Pastelitos Hugo not only represents the cooking of a family dream, but also perseverance, passion and love for sharing a piece of Venezuela with the world.
